DESCRIPTION:This is a structured event focused on practising  English speaking skills. For this purpose\, we play communicative (board) games.\nThe event is for free.\nThe games are provided by us and we explain the rules as well. This time\, we’re going to playtest our own board game which is still in the process of development.\n HOW TO FIND US:\nWe’re going to meet in Lužánky park. The meeting point is the “circular crossroad” next to Ponava café. From there\, we are going to find a cozy place on the lawn nearby. If you are late\, let us know beforehand or look for a group of people playing a card game. DESCRIPTION:Hi lovely people who also happen to love board games! \nWe are playtesting our  game\, which is still in the process of creation. The topic of the game is  veganism (or how to avoid it). A testing session usually takes up to 2 hours.\nWhoever feels like  using the unique opportunity  of playing a board game which has never been played (and most likely will never be again)\, do join us!\nYou do not need any  special abilities or  knowledge but having some experience with board/card games is helpful. We explain the rules of the game\, and all you need to do is to:\n show up\,\n play the game and have fun\,\n tell us what you like and dislike about it.\nUPDATE FROM PAST PLAYTESTS: The rules of the game are complex. Be ready that it takes at least one game to fully understand it.\n What is the game about?\nEach of us is going to have a  secret identity. The identity defines our goals in the game. People with the same goal need to  cooperate to win. The issue is that you are never certain about who is on your team and who is bluffing. Also\, it may change each round. To win\, you need to use your  wits and  deduction skills.\nThe game is designed to support  conversation. It is going to be played in English so we recommend at least level B1.\nWhere to find us?\nWe’re going to meet in Lužánky\, near the café Ponava. The identity defines our goals in the game. People with the same goal need to  work together to achieve it. The issue is that you are never certain about who is on your team and who is bluffing. To figure it out\, you need to use your  wits and  deduction skills. 🗪 Talking and observing others are vital parts of the game\, too!\nOther important info\nTo playtest\, we need at least 5 people. If there are less people\, we’ll play a different game instead. \nThe weather should be good\, so we’re going to play in a park. It may be a good idea to bring something to sit on (blanket\, mat\, pillow…).\n Game development news \nThis is the first version of the game which includes a board (as opposed to cards only). We expect it to simplify the beginnings for new players.

DESCRIPTION:Board game event which provides safe space for practising English\, meeting new people and having fun. \nYou can join  free of charge and only contribute with voluntary donation for games if you gain value from the event.\n HOW IT WORKS:\nTo smoothen the process\, we create gaming groups before the event starts. During each event\, you can do ONE of these 3 actions:\n bring your own game and  post its name and number of players into the event (the game needs to be in English or language independent); or\n pick a community game and  post its name and number of players into the event; or\n if there are existing groups with empty slots\, join one by  liking the post.\n LEADER: If you are the one posting the name of the game\, you are required to explain the rules to the others in your group – in case of community games\, we send you the rulebook in advance.\n HOW TO FIND US:\nWhen entering through the gate\, go to the right and find stairs. Climb to 2nd floor (Metal Shop is on 1st\, keep going!). When high enough\, turn to the left and you will see door to Expat Centre. However\, there is another door a bit to the right –  this is your magical entry spot to Narnia!\n HOW TO BEHAVE:\n1.  Pick your game ahead of the event. This ensures you a game to play as well as co-players. Upon your arrival\, sit to your table and play – this way you avoid all unnecessary organisational steps.\n2.  Be on time or inform your co-players about any delay. After 7 PM the door to the building closes so you are not going to be able to enter.\n3.  Snacks are allowed\, alcohol is not.\nDISCLAIMER:\nBy participating\, you agree with becoming famous as we are going to take pictures to post on social media.

We are  introvert-friendly: all participants always know whom to talk to and what about.\nYou can join  free of charge and only contribute with voluntary donation if you gain value from the event.\n HOW IT WORKS:\nIn groups\, we are going to play card/board games which require communication.\n HOW TO FIND US:\nWhen entering through the gate\, go to the right and find stairs. Climb to 2nd floor (Metal Shop is on 1st\, keep going!). When high enough\, turn to the left and you will see door to Expat Centre. However\, there is another door a bit to the right –  this is your magical entry spot to Narnia!\n HOW TO BEHAVE:\n1.  Mark your attendance at least one day ahead as preparation depends on the number of participants.\n2.  Be on time to enjoy all activities and to see how they relate.
